Ah, you’re wrong. You do have skills!

It’s just a matter of diving deeper and doing a bit of self-reflection into finding your strengths, and you’ll definitely discover something worth sharing.

And better yet, if there is something that you have a strong interest in and something you are passionate about and eager to learn, that learning process can be shared and welcomed by many individuals who want to hear about your experience!

Better yet, while sharing and learning about that topic that interests you, you can also monetize and earn from that newfound interest!

Your Self-Reflection Process

If your still not sure about what you’re good at, this exercise ill help.

Now, during this reflective process, it’s important to think about…

1. Who you are

2. What you enjoy doing and are good at

3. Your skills

4. Your experience

If you take a moment to think about the things you’ve always loved doing as a child, as well as the things that interest you today while factoring in the topics and things that your friends, family, and colleagues say that you are good at and seem to always gravitate towards, then you’re onto something.

Try to think for a moment and see what you come up with. Just be honest and take your time.

Now to ensure you start your reflective journey on the right path, think about these 5 questions:

1. What activities or interests did you have as a child? Do you still have these interests? If so, would you enjoy doing work in these areas?

2. What books do you often read today? When you go to the bookstore or shop for books on Amazon for example, what topics are of interest to you? What section of the bookstore (or library) do you gravitate towards? Instead of a library or online bookstore like Amazon, you could also browse Pinterest.com. What topics of interest and Pinterest Pin topics grab your attention?

3. What projects have you worked on in the past? Whether in school, career, at-home hobby, or volunteer work, has brought you excitement, joy, and fulfillment?

4. What hobbies do you have today that light you up and you could spend countless hours doing?

5. List your skills. These could be technology-related. Think of the software programs you’re good at, skill-sets you’ve mastered on the job, perhaps you speak a language well etc., or do something really well. Think long and hard.

It could even be that you are a good listener, have strong project management skills, give great presentations, are an amazing storyteller, or are excellent at using tools and technology, research well … whatever...

The sky is the limit!

Try doing this …

A Brainstorm Session

Just think about your lifestyle and the things you do now in your daily routine or within your job that is a marketable skill that individuals and companies have appreciated.

Brainstorm by making a list and jotting down everything that comes to mind.

This exercise may take some time, but don’t rush it. Think deeply and write down anything and everything. Just be as honest with yourself as possible. This is your chance to brainstorm and “brain dump” your skills, strengths and experiences.

Once you do this exercise, you’ll get much clearer on how you can use these strengths to your advantage to make money – or build a business that really means something to you and one that is in demand.

Now perhaps a business isn’t necessarily what you want right now. Then you’ll just want to jump ahead to see the list below.

If you’re simply one of those people who are curious about how you can create new income streams using online strategies, (and not necessarily interested in building a business right now, but may consider doing so in the future), you’ll be intrigued and excited about these 101 creative ways to make money online.

essential-oils-for-health-and-wellness.jpg

If you're a creative do-it-yourself type who likes to dabble in making things, then why not consider earning some extra cash doing so!

We are all natural-born creators and there is no better joy than being paid to do something you love! And now with the vast array of innovative technologies, there is no better time to start than now.

The internet has opened up a whole new world of opportunities, where your location is no longer a limitation to making sales. The evolution of e-commerce, not to mention new software and apps being created daily coupled with various social media platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, Tiktok - you name it! There are so many new media applications out there to help share your newest creation.

Television is no longer the medium of choice.

New media is here to stay. And if you can evolve and take advantage of just a few of these few players, it can be enough to take your creative venture to the top!

Some things to consider before you decide what you’ll make:

Before you even start creating, it’s important to first think about what takes you the least amount of time to create. You would also have to ensure that the item you choose to create can be made in a decent amount of time to make it a worthwhile venture.

Can you make it fairly quickly?

This is important to ask yourself because the quicker you can create and sell the item, the more money you can make. Now if you can create a bunch and sell in bulk then that’s even better. You’ll be able to turn-over more - meaning you can sell more of your items in less time. And if you can market this product well, you’re in an even better situation in terms of adding to your income and bottom line!

The key to your success is to have systems in place that you can leverage your efforts to create the most rewarding results for both you and your customers.

So the question remains …

What things can you make and sell online?

Well, you'd be surprised at the selection of simple things you could easily make and sell online. I have over 40 ideas, but I know there are plenty more.

Now if you are one who wouldn't mind earning some extra income from selling things you make online, then this vast list is going to be a real treat!

Ready to start creating?

Here are 40+ Things to Make and Sell Online (with Examples)

make-templates-sell-online-for-cash.jpg

1. Templates - Ready-made templates that people can use to complete projects are often an overlooked sale item for many businesses and solo-entrepreneurs.

There are a wide array of template choices. Templates are basically a framework by which a project can be completed.

For example, Powerpoint Templates are pre-formatted and pre-designed with placeholders for text and images. So all you have to do is replace the image holder or dummy text area with your own text and images and voila! You have a professionally looking Powerpoint presentation that you can now use to present your work.

As long as the template is designed by a highly-skilled designer who understands layout and presentation styles, there is no reason why you cannot have your own professionally made presentation that looks highly professional and functions like a charm without you having to put in grueling hours of work trying to format and design your presentation. A pre-built template is an excellent option.

There are so many templates from content templates, email templates, and business plan templates to web design templates (just to name a few), creating templates for others can be a very lucrative business.

2. Checklists - People need to stay organized and checklists are one of the best ways to do it. Think of a checklist as a type of to-do list to get tasks completed. Now if you can create a system where the task can be completed well and have a checklist for that particular task that guarantees success upon completion, then your checklist has value! So many people would benefit from your checklist. Actually, there are apps that can help with this. Apps like Planable.io or Redbooth.com make the process of creating checklists easy. However, with their easy online app tool, you can create checklists from anywhere even on the go! They even give you access to other checklists created by others for tasks that you too may need to create a checklist for. You can use these checklists as is or tweak them to add minor tasks to the list where necessary. This makes task creation easy - not to mention it will keep you organized!

3. Planners & Journals - Planners and journals can make staying organized fun and easy because you’re adding some creative flare with the use of stickers, doodles, and drawings. You can even add fancy lettering with calligraphy to make your planners and journals even more beautiful! Now if you sell these planners and journals to the right people (and there are a ton of people to sell them to, you can make a nice little income from this business).

4 E-books - Ebooks, manuals, reports, etc., that inform, educate, or entertain your audience can sell well. The fact that they are instantly downloadable after your customer purchases it saves you the time and money to have to ship the product. This is what makes digital downloads so appealing.

Online courses are in a wide variety of topic areas, from calligraphy, drawing, and graphic design classes, to writing, coding and photography! If you have something you have expertise in, then an online course may be just the thing you could sell online!

6. Affiliate Products - If you have a blog or website, promote industry-specific products to your audience. What’s create about this method is that you’re still meeting the needs of your audience by sharing a product you know they can use and benefit from. And best of all, you don’t have to go through the work to plan, create and market the product. You simply need to sell an existing product that someone else made, but you get to make a commission off of any sales when your audience chooses to buy through the link you place for the affiliate product on your site. A cool and easy way to sell and make a bit of cash online.

It's not a problem at all for a trained SEO writer. In fact, it's a huge opportunity that has endless opportunities. It's just a matter of navigating the market in a way that's specific to the expertise of the health coach that the writer is working with.

For example, a health coach who helps women lose weight after pregnancy with meal plans and recipes can offer healthy eating habits and fitness tips to make losing weight a much less stressful endeavor. They can make weight loss and leading a healthy life an easier one. This needs focused content is what the most popular wellness brands do when it comes to writing compelling quality content that creates results for their readers and for their business.

A Freelance SEO Health Writer Can Help

If you have a service you provide along with products available for sale, you can have content created around the benefits of those products and services.

wellness-content-writer-blog-posts.jpg

Now, if you can highlight the value of your products and services to your audience that’s even better! You can do this with blog posts, but then take it a step further and create email content, social media posts, videos, webinars, and presentations.

Now if you can take all of this and meticulously create and send it through a marketing funnel, then you have a winning formula with a much better chance at obtaining better results from your audience than if you didn't create a funnel system like this. If this sounds like a lot of work, it is! But whether you choose to do it yourself or hire a health and fitness freelance writer to do it for you, investing in content is one of the best investments you’ll ever make - if it’s done right.

As you know the wellness industry is growing strong and you can take advantage of the billions of dollars being made by simply strategically following your customers' journey with a well-planned marketing funnel.

Doing this will help improve your website traffic numbers, overall revenues, and the number of people who support your business.

Here are some tips for your content creation:

1. Use a standard style guide to write your blog post articles and social media posts. Make different pieces of content follow the same guides. This creates consistency and can train your reader in the style you provide while making your content easier to navigate on the page. Using titles, sub-headings, numbered lists, images, and data points can take your content from basic to better!

2. Choose wellness topics that your audience is searching for information on. Also share blog topics and other wellness social media post ideas. When you meet the needs of your audience, you also meet your business needs and ultimately earn more when you focus on your customer experience.

3. Add e-learning avenues like e-courses, digital downloads, webinars, and complete programs to the mix to better engage with your audience while expanding your reach. When you follow the digital trends and do so on the websites and social media platforms where your audience hangs out, it's a true formula for success!

4. Partner with other businesses and health experts to broaden your audience even further. Complimentary business partners can help you leverage your efforts even further. But best of all this method will mean you can more efficiently use your time better and gain more results.

5. Hire a writer who has shown you writing samples of their work to ensure that they can speak in your voice, while more importantly creating quality content that your readers can enjoy.

Your passion for health and wellness needs to shine bright. And by having the right content along with the right guidance, you can propel your business to greater heights and reap the rewards from those efforts.

How to Overcome Decision Fatigue

how to overcome decision fatigue

Making decisions can sometimes be a challenge.

For many of us, the inability to decide on something, can lead to doing nothing at all. And that is something you want to avoid. Indecision can keep us from reaching our goals thereby decreasing a quality of life we are meant to enjoy.

This is referred to as decision fatigue. By definition, it is …

"The deteriorating quality of decisions made by an individual after a long session of decision making".

Essentially our quality of choices decline because we have made too many decisions. This is when our brain gets tired and can no longer make the best choice based upon the options available to us.

What happens is that it becomes harder to choose the best option based on our circumstance.

So, what can you do about decision fatigue?

Consider these tips to help you make the best decisions and avoid decision fatigue all together...

overcome-decision-fatigue-procrastination.jpg

1. Plan your daily tasks the night before. This ensure that you have a clear picture of how your next day will begin. And this will help to keep you on track.

2. Make decisions early in the morning. When you have a good nights rest, you have more mental clarity when you wake up. This is because your mind has had time to rest and your day has not yet been filled with endless tasks or decision after decision.

3. Focus on one task at a time. If you focus on doing too many things at once, your brain goes in over-drive and you become overwhelmed. This can lead to not completing the task at hand or worse, not doing anything at all. Your brain only has the ability to process a certain amount of information at a time. So, when you can focus on one task or goal, you are laser-focused on its completion. And that can create a better result and improve your productivity.

4. Do the most important tasks first. This will ensure that you have completed the most essential tasks that make the most impact.

5. Batch your tasks. If you have a number of different tasks, complete the tasks in one go. For example, if you have 3 articles to write, and 3 videos to create , do all of your article writing first and then move onto creating your videos. This keeps the momentum of each task constant and without interruption. You’re basically doing the same thing, which keeps you laser focused allowing you to finish the task sooner rather than having to restart and get into the mode of “creating articles” again.

Did you know that it takes 20 minutes to re-focus again once you leave a task? It’s true.

According to a recent study at the University of California, if you refocus your efforts with just one interruption, it can take up to 23 minutes to get back on track with your original task. And get this, the average worker often switches tasks every three minutes! That equates to a lot of lost productivity and time, not to mention the amount of energy spent to do the task and misused brain energy to get back on track.

So, if you can batch your tasks (like return emails first, then return phone calls), this will save you a ton of time and improve your productivity. And if you’re a business owner, you’ll save more money and improve your ROI.

6. Be sure that you have processes in place ahead of time. This keeps things moving forward with less interruptions. It also keeps your mind free and solely focused on the task at hand.

7. Delegate tasks. A highly skilled team can put tasks in the hands of those with experience. This makes it easier to get things done. It also ensures that confidence is placed in the hands of those with the most expertise. And this is one of the best ways to ensure everyone has peace of mind.

8. Continue to create strong teams. Whatever tasks need to be completed, find people who do it well. This is one of the best ways to create the best results for any project.

9. Sleep well, eat healthy and exercise. This is should be true not only for yourself, but also for those you work with. A healthy team that's alert and well rested, can make all the difference in how tasks get done.

If you want to avoid procrastination and decision fatigue, follow the above steps. It will not only keep you happier and healthier, but if you have projects or run a business, it will ensure that everyone is on the same page. It will also ensure that tasks are completed to perfection. And that will ultimately affect your bottom line.

By creating and sticking to the boundaries in your workflow and life, you’re better able to harness your power and improve the dynamics of your work - life environment.

Placing your energy on the right tasks in the right way can make all the difference!

How to Get Health Coaching Clients (Faster & With Less Work)

Being a health coach is one of the most rewarding careers. Not only are you able to help people live healthier lifestyles, but you can make a good living at it.

However, one of the challenges for new health coaches is how to get clients for your health coach business.

Starting a health coaching business is hard, but it can be a bit less challenging when you use the business technology resources available nowadays to leverage your efforts. If you’ve read this far, you’re in for a treat because I’m going to get you going quicker than had you not stumbled upon this article post.

Many health coaches are familiar with advertising at health events offline, online social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Google ads or Instagram. Although all of these outlets are great places to advertise your business, the challenge for many health coaches is also knowing how to create compelling messages.

In this post, I'm going to share…

… not only how to find clients as a health coach, but also how to create compelling messages that will make prospective clients eager to come to you.

Now, let's get to it!

Places to find clients for your health and wellness business:

get health and wellness clients
  1. Join forces with someone who offers a complimentary business to yours and hold a workshop. For example a bike shop, a chef or local gym, personal trainer, wellness center, corporate workshop or fitness center.

  2. Online forums - comment and share your expertise by answering questions about health and direct people to your blog and website to gain further insight and info. Viewing posts from more than one online community allows you to better understand your target markets struggles so that you can better serve them.

  3. Local schools and/or Universities - give a talk on the importance of proper health for energy or a meal prep workshop. A great idea for students is how to eat healthy on a budget with meal prep ideas and recipes to save them time and give them high energy to study and function well throughout the day.

  4. A Bridal Shop - many brides want to get in tip top shape for their wedding day. A workshop at a local bridal shop is a great idea to share healthy eating tips along with a book of easy recipes they can choose to make with their significant other.

  5. Start a YouTube Channel sharing tips that will appeal to your target audience. Remember, always focus on your target audience within your niche market to ensure the right people are finding your content.

  6. Create a blog with content centered around your area of expertise and then ensure that you have a CTA (call-to-action) for your reader of your post to take the next step to contact you. They can do so with an email opt-in form where they fill out their name and address.

A great tip is to offer them something of value when they give you their personal contact information via the opt-in form. For example, if your target audience are diabetics, why not offer a meal plan guide and grocery list of safer food choices for a diabetic and include meal plans and daily exercises to help them keep their blood sugar levels down.

  7. Do a talk or workshop at a local vegan or other restaurant that caters to healthy dishes.

  8. Offer to joint venture with health insurance companies in creating a booklet, guide, do an interview or join forces on a podcast. The sky is the limit with this idea. You could do some much and go in so many directions. Grab a pen and brainstorm some more ideas!

  9. Offer coupons on sites like + and +. These sites have huge networks and you could offer an introductory offer with a coupon to get more exposure for your business. So many people are becoming more health conscious. And now people are so internet savvy, and love to save money, they'd welcome an invite to get in touch with you through a coupon promo ad.

  10. Team up with a health institute either in your local area or globally.

  11. Put a corporate wellness program together and offer to provide it for businesses in your city. Wellness programs are becoming hugely successful for many qualified health coaches because of the huge impact they make on employee productivity and overall lifestyle!

  12. Set up your own Referral Program or Affiliate Program to offer your products and services and offer people who promote your service or product with a sale, give them a commission. This is a way to market your business without having to do any work after the initial set up of your program.

  13. Niche down and choose a very specific group of people as your target market.

  14. Join business networks both online and within your community.

  15. Join LinkedIn and make a strong profile along with writing articles about your area of expertise. It's a great way for people to find you and share your information.

  16. Offer online training with a health coaching program or course on your own site or on a site like Udemy or Skillshare. There are so many platforms that allow experts from various industries to create and share their courses on their platforms. It's a great way to tap into existing networks so that you can grow your own much faster.

  17. Sell Informational Products like e-books, guides, info booklets, meal plans and meal plan templates etc. Info products are a huge opportunity to create passive income streams by doing the work once and getting rewarded for it 24/7 into the future!

  18. Network with those you know. Now, this is an oldie but goody. Never underestimate good-old-fashioned networking with people in your existing network. Let your friends and family know what you're doing and tell them to let others know as well. Most people you know would be happy to tell others what you do and they'd be happy to recommend your services. So, don't be shy. Get out there and spread the word about your health coaching business!

Another great tip is to ask these friends if they have any lifestyle health challenges and offer them a free coaching session or give them your free health guide. This will give them a good idea as to what you do, but it will show your expertise and make them recommend you even more because they've actually seen what you do and see the value in it!

  19. Talk to the organizers of a local sports event like 5 km run or marathon. Offer to do a 10 minute talk along with give participants a fun challenge and offer something of value like a free recipe book, meal planner, quality water bottle or free consultation. And if you share your website and contact info., it's a great way to gain some traction in your business. After all, everybody loves healthy lifestyle changes that will give them better health and a better life.

  20. Show off your coaching skills by showcasing real case studies of people who you've helped. Be sure to get the permission from your clients to share their story of course. But sharing real clients success stories (on your blog or in promotional materials you share) that show your wellness coaching expertise along with the results, it’s a great way to give you more credibility and show the results that your prospective clients can also attain.

Being able to share a specific outcome from happy clients is one of the best ways to get people talking about you and your business!

  21. Approach your local physical therapy clinic or other local health training centers to offer your services.

  22. Share your coaching process on your website (or on a YouTube or promo video) so that people know ahead of time how you work. People value professionalism and they like to know what they're getting into before they commit. It also gives them a sense of comfort since they're still getting to know you.

Showing your process gives them peace-of-mind and it increases the chance that they'll choose you over the competition.

  23. Offer a coaching package that's in three tiers. A tiered three level coaching service package is great because they show prospective clients exactly what they're going to get with a defined outcome or result. Positive health outcomes where you share your best advice and professional expertise, are what all individuals strive for and these types of health coaching packages work extremely well in doing so.

  24. Show your certification badge on your website or anything you give to clients and customers of your products and services. Share this information on your website about page as well. If you are on a national board or have gained any certification, share this with prospective clients.

The Automation & Passive Income Strategy to Find Coaching Clients

Since not everyone will be ready to invest in being able to work with you one-on-one, having your knowledge packaged into a program that your target customer can use on-demand, is one of the best ways that you can serve them better while providing value without having to turn anyone away. You could create an entire program that you sell on your website and other platforms that allow you to list your program. You could also offer mini reports and e-books and helpful tools for your audience. For example, a book of delicious smoothie blends to help someone who needs to lose weight, but is also low in sugar. Now that would be helpful.

By offering your expertise in a sell-able online format, you're not only able to save your target audience money, but you’re also able to earn some money! This allows you to "take on a new client” (when you don't have time to), without actually having to actively take on a new client.

Having a bunch of digital online products or programs available 24/7 allows you to continuously take on new clients and customers, while growing your business — and with less effort!

You only have to put in the effort once to reap the rewards of your hard work!

Best Website Builder for Your Health Coach Business

When building a website, it’s not just about how aesthetically pleasing your site is to the eye.

Your website must be an effective guide and facilitator of valuable information and resources that are useful to your target audience. After all, your intention is to help your reader and eventually convert your visiting prospect into a buyer of your health coaching services. You want them to feel that they need you. And you want them to eventually invest in your wellness products and services.

Your Health Coaching Website

As an online sales vehicle, your website needs to properly align what you do, with the needs of your audience.

Creating a website these days is a much easier task especially with the wide selection of online tools and apps available.

In my opinion one of the top website builders is SquareSpace. That's because I genuinely believe in what they offer because I use it and have experienced success with its platform.

Now, after being online for quite some time, I’ve had my share of website building platforms. From learning basic HTML and creating simple landing page websites, to website builders like WordPress, and a few others, SquareSpace  is by far my favorite.

Although I still do have a couple of Wordpress websites, I much prefer SquareSpace. (I am actually planning to convert those sites to the SquareSpace platform).

But in my opinion, SquareSpace is by far one of the best website builders on the market.

A similar web builder that I would say is comparable to SquareSpace is Wix. Although I’ve  tried Wix, (and found it to be quite good and noticed that its a web builder that’s recommended my many), I fell in love with everything about SquareSpace and just prefer its interface much better.

If you are a health coach or are working on becoming one, I highly recommend the SquareSpace site building platform for your website and blog.

What else do I like about SquareSpace?

What I find very useful is that the SquareSpace interface even allows you to create a mobile-friendly site automatically! Having a mobile-friendly site allows your audience to easily gain access to your site regardless of whether they’re using their phone to access it, on their laptop or desktop computer. It makes it easy to view any website regardless of the device being used.

The interface also makes it easy to add keyword tags and search engine optimize posts which you can see in the screenshot below of this post.

best-website-builder-for-health-coach.JPG

Another advantage of the platform that I also appreciate is that you don’t have to worry about constantly updating your site with extra plug-ins (as you do with Wordpress), for site protection or other advanced features that are essential to owning a website.

SquareSpace has everything build-in and a team of highly-trained technicians working day and night to ensure that your site is protected and functions the way it should.

You want to create results for your health coaching business. And Squarespace makes creating your site easy.

The platform is not cumbersome, but is incredibly intuitive. They have every tutorial you could possibly think of. Best of all, these tutorials are easily searchable on the help section of their website (using to-the-point videos for each step).

Easy assess to a search box allows you to look up any topic you need help with.

squarespace-support.PNG

But if you cannot find the answer to your question within their search console, their support staff is easily accessible through their chat window that’s always accessible on their site. This makes getting your site issues resolved a quick and easy fix.

Oh, and did I mention ...

SquareSpace has the best support team! Their live chat support staff are extremely easy to communicate with and even give you video tutorials of exactly how to do a task live in real-time if you are still having problems doing it yourself!

Here is a sneak peek at some of my favorite features of SquareSpace:

  1. 24/7 support on week days

  2. Video Tutorials available through the keyword search box on their site

  3. Amazing support staff who are incredibly quick and helpful any time of day (except weekends, only email support is available. But even so, they reply back quickly).

  4. Easy site editing with a simple click.

  5. Website Design Templates (so many to choose from)

  6. Easy website builder and Features and Clean Website Themes

  7. Easily have an optimized site that can be seen in the Google Search engines. Add tags and categories easily with each post you write.

  8. Your online marketing efforts are less because of the strong search engine optimization or SEO abilities.

  9. Showcase your health coach brand professionally – allowing you to look good.

  10. Email Marketing - Easy opt-in form capabilities, contact forms and ability to include call-to-actions like opt-in PDF’s, your healthy recipes e-books, customizable templates and giveaways that your readers once opt-ing in can quickly access.

  11. Easily integrates Google Analytics so you can track website visitors seeing how they respond to your website and the pages they are visiting so that you can improve your site for a better reader experience.

  12. Landing page and web design templates that look amazing and function well!

  13. Online bookings and scheduling for consultations

  14. Quick blog post set-up

SquareSpace is incredibly user-friendly and I highly, highly recommend it to all health coaches and wellness professionals who need a reliable website building platform for their business.

Best Web-Builder for Health Coaches

SquareSpace could be used for any coaching service, from health coaches to life coaches to fitness consultants, personal trainers or nutrition experts. It’s an awesome website building platform that’s easy to navigate — and again, their support team is top notch!

Strong Search Engine Optimization Abilities

SquareSpace makes it easy to access your ideal client. Its strong SEO abilities are solid, so it’s easy to create search engine optimized content!.

Regardless of the health education and information that you want to share with your audience, the platform works with your personal style, but still has great features that showcase your home page, business blog posts and also allows you to integrate several websites with one single login. This makes it easy for you to manage all of your sites in one place - whether you have a separate site for a course, online program, or have a separate landing page for your newly launched products and services.

SquareSpace makes it easy to manage your business using powerful themes, admin panels and interfaces in a way that allows you to grow your online presence, while providing top notch content marketing support.

All of this allows you to distinguish your professional services from your competition.

Done for You Health Coaching Content

Done for You Health Coaching Content for Health & Wellness Business Bloggers

Done-for-You-Health-Coaching-Content.png

As a health coach, it takes a lot of time and effort to run your health coaching business. You have to market your business, create content -- whether that means creating consistent weekly blog posts, social media posts, email communications, whitepapers, and reports or press release articles to promote your products and services. Regardless of whether you are a new health coach or one with years of experience, marketing your business can take up a lot of your time.

That's why creating quality content is essential for your business.

You know that there is plenty of content that needs to be written to suit each platform. Then, of course, there are your social site updates that vie for your time, not to mention also having to complete your other common everyday tasks.

Imagine this … You never had to do the work yourself!

What if you had done-for-you health coaching content that you could use to grow your business!

That would save you a ton of time, not to mention you would now have the ability to spread the word about your business much faster! And if you're smart enough to an online coaching business presence, you know that content creating can be very time consuming.

Content creation in all forms, whether social media content - like deciding on the right wording of a Twitter tweet to coincide with your latest blog post or posting the right message and visual on an Instagram post.

As you already know, all of these tasks can be quite time consuming to do. There are so many different elements and intricacies involved in each one. And then on top of that, there is the serious task of running your business.

As you know, your website alone can be a monumental driving force in how many new clients you attract as well as how many new product sales come in. That is why promoting your website on all of the social platforms and related industry websites is tremendously important to the growth of your business. After all, content matters and there’s a lot of it when it comes to running a business.

Let’s look at the common online tasks that the most successful businesses engage in:

  • Writing engaging and informative blog posts on a consistent basis to drive new business. For example recipes and shopping for more healthy options when it comes to food selection and ingredients.

  • Writing search engine optimized (SEO) article content (having a health blog with informative, well-written posts to assist your audience with their questions).

  • Content distribution to expand business reach

  • Research and data collection for use in articles, blog posts and guest blogs

  • Promotion of your business via social websites (YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest)

  • Creation of visual media for each content piece (i.e., articles, videos, images etc.)

  • Re-purposing each content piece on various platforms to provide even more exposure

  • Email list communications and messaging for lead nurturing of prospects and customers

  • Promotional marketing materials for use at conferences, workshops and online lead generation i.e., content upgrades and audience offers

Now just the mention of the above task list could make your head spin. But for any business owner, it’s obvious that the above tasks are necessary and a reality to running a successful venture.

You want to be sure that you are reaching your potential clients and ideal clients on the platforms that they frequent. After all, each individual has unique needs, and you can help to address those needs through your online marketing efforts.

That's where fresh, reliable and consistent content comes into play!

You need content to drive business. But not just any content! You need quality content that your audience is going to respond to. It’s content that answers their burning questions or informs them of how to better solve their problem. So, by creating valuable content and distributing it on the various online platforms, you’re also able to appear as a credible source, while becoming more visible in your market!

Is this much content easy to come by? It sure is if you know where to look!

One of the best ways to get this amount of content out regularly is to have your content created for you.

That is why; done-for-you health content has become a popular choice for many health and wellness businesses. Health coaches and other wellness businesses swear by it because it works.

By having the ability to simply download and personalize the content that’s already created, you’re able to quickly drive more traffic and can help to drive more sales to your business!

Everyone wants more business and if you have the help available to share your message more easily and at a much faster rate, that’s one of the best ways to grow your business!

But how do you take full advantage of this licensed content so that it can be beneficial to your business?

Well, you can use these steps to make this newly purchased health content your own:

  1. Personalize the content based on your business objectives. Do you have a product based on the topic of the content you’ve purchased? Why not add a call-to-action at the end of the content for your reader to further engage with your product by linking to it. Not only does this drive more potential sales, but it also shows that you have expert knowledge that can help your reader further fulfill their needs.

  2. Make the content more in your voice by changing the title and wording. If you like humor and your audience knows you for that, why not sprinkle a bit of that humor into the article you’ve just purchased. Not only will it make your readers better relate to your message, but it will also make your message more memorable, not to mention more personable for your audience. This type of content allows your readers to feel as though they know you well and this type of content builds trust.

  3. Be sure that the writer you’re purchasing content from has a track record in providing quality workmanship. Look at their testimonials page. Be sure that those who they have written for have positive things to say about their work. Also, be sure you know what to look for in a good writer. See the article Health Writer Hiring Tips to Avoid here.

  4. Check the responsiveness of your content provider. Do they respond back to you when you have a question? A responsive content provider shows they are serious about their business. Of course we know that things can come up in life, but business owners know that they need to be available to their customers to provide information when requested. Your content provider should be able to reassure you that they value your business and will respond when you are in need of a moment of their time.

  5. Support is key. Your content provider should be able to guide you along in how to give your clients more value by showing you how to use the content that you’ve just purchased from them. They should be able to make suggestions and provide more guidance in how you can use the content to gain the most benefit from your purchase in order to help you grow your business. They can do this through email support, forums or even through the comments section of their blog. It is important that your content provider is responsive and helpful to you – the buyer. This can add tremendous value while ensuring that you gain the most from your purchase, ultimately helping you to expand your business and brand.

  6. Change the format of the content to expand its reach i.e., re-purpose your content. For example, if you have an article, why not change it into an audio file in your own voice. Your new audio could be used for a podcast or YouTube video. This helps to inform and personalize your message, while allowing your audience to feel more comfortable with you, and ultimately feel more willing to accept your future offerings.

  7. Turn stats and quotes into social media graphics, info graphics or videos.

  8. If you have a lengthy article, why not change it into a series or lessons. This helps to split up the content to make it more digestible for your readers. However, by splitting up the content and distributing it out over several days in an email series can help to better engage your audience by creating anticipation, while making it easier for your audience to grasp the content. This may be a better option for some individuals since most people nowadays are strapped for time and may not want to read a lengthy post.

  9. Make a presentation of the information in a recently purchased content piece and share it on a site like Slideshare.net. This allows your content to gain much more exposure than if you had just posted the article solely on your blog.

  10. Take valuable snippets within your purchased content piece and use those as Instagram posts, Twitter Tweets or Pinterest pins and then link those visual messages to the full blog post. By placing snippets of your content on as many social networks as possible and leading them back to your website, you’re making the search engines happy by creating backlinks from authoritative sites, while also making sure that your prospective clients and customers know you exist. It’s a great way to build your business and your brand!

  11. Offer your audience a thorough step by step process to use this original content to make it unique to you and your business.

  12. Professionally designed content with your brand logo and contact information keeps you top-of-mind, so be sure that the health articles you share online along with your social media posts are clearly branded to your business.
